France to mandate fiber optics in all new buildings

A colleague has pointed me to this interesting development in France reported in this article.

Although this option is in-sync with our suggestion for “Broadband Ready Buildings” – BRB [see NETMODE's presentation at EETT Broadband Forum referred in a previous post], the interesting part remains under which terms and conditions a law like that can be applied, especially in Greece where property is heavily fragmented to apartments owners.
