firestatus FireStatus: The Perfect Fit for my Social Networking HabitsDionysis, Panagiotis and Chris, 3 very good friends of mine released FireStatus, a firefox addon that enable users to send messages and receive updates from social sites without having to switch tabs in the browser. What make this add-on so special is its simplicity and ease of use.

Remarkably, just after a few days in the wild, the add-on has already got some steam in twit-sphere and has generated good reviews.

Although social networks culture always fascinated me, I have not been too much involved in it mostly because until now sending/receiving updates was an overhead I could not afford. FireStatus works for me very well, and I believe that if you’re into this type of gig you might want to give it a try!

Read some background info and download it from Mozilla.
