I am honored to be invited to deliver a presentation and moderate a session at this year’s Broadband Cities Conference. The event will be held at Trikala, Greece from the 21st to the 23rd of October and is co-organized by the International Network of E-Communities (INEC). In a special event in Athens on Monday (one day before the conference begins), all local communities of Greece will jointly sign the INEC Declaration on Open Networks. The document originated at Broadband Cities 2006 in Stocholm and has been signed since then by a large number of communities through out the world.
To be honest, I am really excited because among other things, I will have the opportunity to meet some of today’s key fibre people. I am also excited because I’ll get to finally shake hands with some of the eminent “Fiber Ring” members!
