I read Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers these days and the case of Susan Boyle fits perfectly to a simple rule the author lays in one of the book’s chapters. You need to have 10,000 hours of practice to become an expert in your field. But you will also need courage, a goal and an opportunity.
